On Thursday (11), WhatsApp announced an update that introduces the option to create custom stickers directly within the Meta app.

With the update, users can create stickers without the need for third-party apps or methods, allowing them to customize images from the gallery with automatic cuts, text, shapes, emojis, and overlays. The created sticker is automatically saved after being sent.

For now, the new feature, which already existed on WhatsApp Web, is only available for iOS. Users with iOS 17 can enjoy the full update, while those with earlier versions of iOS 17 can only edit stickers, not create new ones.
